The exhibition “Mind The Earth” was conceived by urban planner Kasper Brejnholt Bak in cooperation with the Danish Architecture Centre. There is something deeply fascinating about seeing the Earth from above. You suddenly notice things you never did before. From an altitude of 10 kilometres, landscapes and settlements create patterns we are a part of without even knowing. Then, when zooming in, it becomes clear that every place and region has its own unique character and story. The exhibition “Mind the Earth” is both a zoom in and out, as each of the selected photos from Google Earth tells a unique story about the state of the Earth: from scattered island communities to megacities and huge agricultural areas providing food for an ever-growing population.
